Breakout race for ANNEAU D'OR in the G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile.
ANNEAU D'OR ran a huge race in the G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile, coming within a neck of winning the race in only his second lifetime start, and first on the dirt!
Proving he belongs with the best of his generation, this strong, athletic son of Medaglia D'Or, came four wide around the turn to just miss catching Storm the Court at the wire, having run over 50 ft. further than the winner.
Congratulations to Peter Redekop for taking the plunge on the big stage, to Blaine Wright and his team, for getting his horse in top condition for the race and for jockey Juan Hernandez (seen here giving his mount a well deserved hug after the race!) who so nearly made his first Breeders' Cup ride a winning one!
This will be an exciting team to keep an eye on in the future!
