TOP EXECUTIVE: Three for three at the 2021 Emerald Downs meet!
TOP EXECUTIVE wins the Muckleshoot Derby at Emerald Downs, making this his third stakes win of the meet! In a hard fought battle with second placed Coastal Kid, Top Executive prevailed by a head at the wire. The win also helped his popular trainer, Blaine Wright tie in fourth place for all time stakes wins at Emerald Downs with 46. ANMER HALL shows determination to win first time out at Del Mar!
ANMER HALL was game breaking his maiden at Del Mar first time out. He broke well in the 5 furlongs sprint on the turf and settled nicely behind the leaders. Moving three wide around the turn, he joined front runner Trebbiano, to battle gamely, winning by a head. HIGH OAK wins the G2 Saratoga Special in his second start!
Coming off his maiden win first time out at Belmont, HIGH OAK won the G2 Saratoga Special on Saturday, drawing off to win by an eye-catching 4 1/4 lengths. The first black type winner for sire GORMLEY, broke sharply and settled just off the leaders, three wide. He took control at the head of the lane and drew off to win easily. STREET TAPPER wins handily in her first start!
The STREET BOSS filly STREET TAPPER won very impressively at first asking today. She was slow out of the gate but made up ground on the rail, hitting the lead late stretch and drawing away at the wire. She won the MSW race by a handy length and a half. Congratulations to owners Martin Racing Stable and partners, trainer Bret Calhoun and jockey Reylu Gutierrez.
