ANYPORTINASTORM impressive in Governor's Stake win
ANYPORTINSTAORM delivered a scintillating Northwest debut Sunday, romping home by 3 ½ lengths over stable mate Oh Marvelous Me in the $50,000 Governor’s Stakes for 3-year-olds and up.
He ran six furlongs in a stakes record 1:07.54 for trainer Blaine Wright and owner Peter Redekop of Vancouver, B.C.
The five year-old Florida-bred by City Zip, ANYPORTINASTORM has now earned $214,625 with six wins and five placings from 12 starts. Now a triple stakes winner, this consistent colt is being pointed to the $200,000 Longacres Mile (G3) on Sunday, August 11.
ANYPORTINASTORM was purchased by Roden Bloodstock at the 2014 OBS April Sale from consigners De Meric Sale.
