Faithful Fan Favorite HEART TO HEART ran tough in his seasonal debut.
Despite missing the break and having to alter his traditional front-running style, the extremely consistent HEART TO HEART showed his maturity by settling mid-pack. Having to go wide around the turn, he gave his fans something to shout for, flying up on the outside to just miss winning the G3 Tropical Turf Stake, at Gulfstream Park, by a length.
This trusty campaigner continues to impress with his ability and reliability.
Congratulations to trainer Brian Lynch and his team. Owner Terry Hamilton, also had two winners over the weekend TERYN IT UP and SPOOKY CHANNEL, both by Calumet sire ENGLISH CHANNEL. All three horses were purchased by Roden Bloodstock.
