Zia Park Championship Day

Zia Park Championship Day highlighted three Roden Bloodstock graduates, with two winners and one hard fought third place.

Congratulations to Peter Redekop, Blaine Wright and his team, on their impressive double. Two offspring of the late CITY ZIP showed the competition how it was done.

The tough knocking ALLIFORD BAY won the $100,000 Zia Park Distaff, increasing her earnings to over $250,000.

Purchased by Roden Bloodstock at the 2016 OBS April Sale.

And the ultra consistent ANYPORTINASTORM won the $100,000 Zia Park Sprint. He has finished in the money in eight of his nine races with a total purse money of over $133,000.

He was purchased by Roden Bloodstock at the same 2016 OBS April Sale.

DEPUTY'S ECHO almost made it a triple for Roden Bloodstock with a tough fought third place, getting beaten only 1/2 length after running eight wide around the turn.

This hard knocking fellow has won over $200,000 in his career. Congratulations to owner Mrs. Bloss and trainer Nancy Summers. DEPUTY'S ECHO was purchased by Roden Bloodstock at the 2014 Keeneland Yearling Sale.
